Total Loss Protection (TLP)

At SlipStream we will cover you above and beyond your actual cash value payout from your underlying insurance provider, in the event of a total loss.

  • TLP pays you out the policy limit you purchased. If you purchased a TLP limit of $15,000 then we write you a cheque for $15,000.

  • TLP is a great policy to help cover those extra expenses Vehicle Replacement policies do not. Such as, tax, warranties and negative equity.

  • We offer policies ranging from $2,500-$25,000

  • We cover everything from personal use vehicles, too light commercial vehicles. Including, but not limited too; taxis, Ubers, city deliveries, small busses and construction.

Vehicle Replacement coverage

At SlipStream we offer new and used vehicle replacement policies. On new vehicles SlipStream will pay you the difference between the depreciated value and the purchase price of the newest year/make/model (or similar make and model).

On a used vehicle SlipStream adds 5% appreciation to the purchase price per year, for each year you have owned the insured vehicle.
